Woodbridge Community Hall

The village hall has a wide range of users.

This group started in 2016  and is an opportunity for people to enjoy Traditional English Social dancing  at a barn dance or ceilidh style event.  We are affiliated to the EFDSS.

It is held on the first Friday each month from 7.30-10.30pm  (not August) . Definitely a ‘frolicsome’ fun evening for anyone attending.

We book local and nationally known callers with a different one for each of our dances throughout the year.

Annual Bazaar & Coffee Morning

Woodbridge Wildlife Group is part of Suffolk Wildlife Trust, the county’s wildlife charity.

The group organises events, talks and wildlife activities in the Woodbridge area.  By doing this we aim to raise awareness of Suffolk Wildlife Trust and encourage interest in their reserves and local wildlife.  Funds raised by the group support Suffolk Wildlife Trust in safeguarding wildlife throughout our county. 

From October to April we hold monthly indoor meetings at Woodbridge Community Hall on the third Thursday evening of each month.  Doors open at 7 pm with the event starting at 7.30 pm.  Pre booking is not required. There is an entry fee to adults, with free entry to anyone under 25 years of age.  Our evening meetings are open to all, whether a member of Suffolk Wildlife Trust or not.

We run a beginners class 1.15 to 2.15 and a regular class 2.30 to 4.20 every Thursday.

Suffolk Ballroom Dancing Club

We have been regular hirers since the hall was built, we hold a 50/50 dance ballroom and sequence on the last Saturday of the month holding 9 dances in the year cost for non members is £5 per person including a buffet, we limit numbers giving preference to members you need to book via our secretary Ann Sunshine on 01449722394

Woodbridge Mind Body Spirit Festival

The event started in 2000 with the idea to support the local community wellbeing with a natural health festival. The event comprises of local therapists, natural holistic products, psychic readers, health and wellbeing advice, talks, demonstrations and workshops.
